A delegation of 52 Cuban doctors and nurses arrived in Italy to help the country fight the COVID-19 outbreak. Italy is the worst hit in this pandemic with the highest number of casualties anywhere in the world. The team of Cubans will assist in the Lombardy region, the worst affected within Italy.
