In Sudan, the anti-government protests have taken a turn for the worse as military violence against the protestors has killed hundreds of people in the last few days. Now the military junta has withdrawn from all agreements it had reached with the protestors. In Algeria, the Constitutional Council has now postponed the elections which were scheduled for July 4 by the interim president Abdelkader Bensalah. Finally, in Honduras, protests against government attempts of privatization of education and healthcare continue to rage strongly.
