Several Kashmiris have been reportedly detained by the armed forces from the Kashmir Valley, including political activists, students, PhD aspirants, teachers and businessmen. The detainees have been sent to the local police stations, while over 300 Kashmiris have been sent to a number of jails across central Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
