This year on Juneteenth, all over the US, strikes were organized to mark the occasion. The biggest strike action was organized by the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU), which stopped work for eight hours at all 29 ports of the West Coast of the US.

This year on Juneteenth, all over the US, strikes were organized to mark the occasion. People raised the slogan of Black Lives Matter in solidarity with George Floyd and other victims of racist violence. The biggest strike action was organized by the International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU), which stopped work for eight hours at all 29 ports of the West Coast of the US.
