Death toll in Myanmar’s anti-coup protests continues to rise

The death toll in Myanmar’s anti-coup protests has continued to rise amid a brutal crackdown by security forces. As of March 30th, the Assistance Association for Political Prisoners (AAPP) has estimated that 521 people have been killed so far. In the meantime, the military junta has also mounted a systematic attack against the leaders of the civilian government.
