In today’s episode of the Daily Round-up we look at the ongoing anti-coup protests in Sudan amid a fatal crackdown by junta forces; the 31st annual Women’s Memorial March held in Canada to honour missing and murdered Indigenous women and girls and trans and Two Spirit people; protests in Pakistan after the disappearance of a university student, Abdul Hafeez, in Balochistan and wider insecurity in the region; and a petition filed on behalf of 72,000 people urging the UN to end its business with the Bolloré Group accused of rights violations in its palm oil plantation operations in Asia and Africa.
