Around 250 protesters who are opposing a controversial pipeline project in the State of Minnesota in the United States have been arrested over the past few days.

Indigenous groups and environmental activists have been opposing the construction of the final phase of the Line 3 pipeline in northwestern Minnesota. The pipeline is operated by the Canadian oil giant Enbridge Inc
