The Narendra Modi government has failed the Indian people – in conversation with Thomas Franco

Thomas Franco, former general secretary of All India Bank Officers Confederation, talked to Peoples Dispatch about the state of the Indian economy under the far right Narendra Modi government. He talks about how in the last four and a half years, Modi failed to deliver on his promises of development, jobs, and progress for the country’s citizens. He also discussed how many of the disastrous policy decisions, as well as the relentless push towards privatization during this period made things worse.
