“Free political prisoners and end Israeli occupation”: Thousands march on Palestinian Prisoners’ Day

Around 5450 Palestinian political prisoners, including hundreds of women and children, are currently being held in Israeli prisons.

On April 17, commemorating the Palestinian Prisoners’ Day, thousands of Palestinians rallied in West Bank to express their solidarity with the political prisoners held in Israeli prisons. Around 5450 Palestinian prisoners, including hundreds of women and children, are currently being held in Israeli prisons. They are subjected to brutal conditions, including torture, humiliations, solitary confinement and lack of basic facilities.
