In this episode, we first go to Colombia where massive protests took place against the rising number of assassinations of social leaders and human rights defenders, and the complete impunity being enjoyed by the killers. We also go to Zimbabwe where teachers’ unions have embarked on a strike against the falling values of their wages even as costs of basic commodities continue to rise. Finally, in India, over 4,000 textile workers at Himatsingka Linens in Karnataka quit their jobs when the company got 15 workers arrested for demanding their overdue wages.
