On April 11, a group of right-wingers and supporters of Jair Bolsonaro staged a rally against physical distancing and the governor of Sao Paulo who has adopted such measures. This public outburst goes in line with the attitude of the President who has discredited physical distancing measures as well as underplayed the seriousness of the COVID-19 pandemic.
