On June 30, French health workers protested demanding an overhaul of the healthcare system in France. They condemned the stagnant wages and lack of recruitment and also condemned the consultation process on the sector initiated by the French government as a path to privatization.

The call for the mobilization was given by major trade unions, including the General Confederation of Labor (CGT)and health workers collectives like L’Inter-Urgences and Collectif Inter-Hôpitaux also joined the protests.
