Lebanon has a new prime minister in Mustapha Adib but to many, he is part of the same corrupt and inefficient old leadership that created the crisis in the country

Protests in Lebanon are continuing following the Beirut port blasts amid severe state repression. Hassan Diab resigned from his post of prime minister following these massive protests, and Lebanon’s ambassador to Germany, Mustapha Adib, is set to be the next prime minister. But the Lebanese people are not pleased with the new political leadership as Adib is seen to be part of the same corrupt and inefficient old leadership that created the crisis in Lebanon.
