After almost a year in exile, former president Evo Morales returned to Bolivia on November 9 following the swearing in ceremony of Luis Acre. The Movement Towards Socialism’s (MAS) presidential ticket with Luis Arce and David Choquehuanca won 55.1% of the vote share in the general elections held on October 18. Arce promised to rebuild Bolivia and recover the economy, which has been destroyed by the de-facto government in the past one year.
