Migrants stranded in Guatemala following repression by security forces

The migrant caravan which is on it’s way to the United States has to pass through Guatemala and Mexico first in order to reach the US.

A caravan of more than thousand Honduran migrants were brutally repressed by the Guatemalan military and police forces, on January 17. Honduran migrants, including men, women and children, have set off on this perilous 4,000-km long journey on foot to the US with the hope to apply for humanitarian asylum there.
