Serbian online workers protest against taxation

Online workers in Serbia are protesting a new taxation scheme which could see them paying up to 6 years of back tax

Online workers across Serbia are continuing with their agitation against the new law against their payments from abroad. The ongoing protest is against the government’s decision to charge them taxes for the past six years and they demand for the collection of the taxes be suspended and negotiations opened with the online workers Association of Internet Workers (URI).
