At 173 years since the first publication of ‘The Communist Manifesto,’ the president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, Nicolás Maduro, joins thousands of people from across the world to read this landmark text which has inspired struggles, movements and revolutions globally.

173 years later, our task is even greater as the crisis of capitalism has only deepened and the toll it has taken on humanity and life itself grows greater by day. However we remain resolute in our cause, Maduro reminds us that it is only the unity of forces fighting for change which can bring our necessary victories.
