Students’ protests in South Africa have intensified following the killing of Mthokozisi Ntumba, a bystander, by the South African Police Services (SAPS). Since March 15, students across SA have been on the streets to implement a shut down of all higher education institutions following the call issued by the South Africa Union of Students (SAUS). They are demanding clearance of all historical debt of students and end to police brutality against protesting students.
