Israeli forces attack Palestinian marathon runners demanding end to forced evictions

At least 23 runners were injured on June 4 when Israeli forces fired tear gas and stun grenades on a marathon in East Jerusalem. The marathon was held in solidarity with the Palestinian families in Sheikh Jarrah and Silwan neighborhoods who are facing forced expulsions from their homes at the hands of the occupying Israeli state.
