Right-wing incumbent Andrzej Duda fails to gain first-round victory in Polish presidential election
Andrzej Duda, backed by the incumbent right-wing Law & Justice (PiS) party, failed to obtain 50% of the votes in the first round of presidential polls held on June 28, Sunday. He will face Warsaw mayor Rafał Trzaskowski from the Civic Platform in the second round
