Several groups signed a letter warning of the wide-ranging negative consequences of designating the Houthis as a terrorist group, including hampering of humanitarian relief efforts and diplomatic negotiations to end the war 

The open letter urges Western governments with close ties to Bahrain to demand the release of prominent activist-academic Dr. Abduljalil al-Singace and other political prisoners. It also calls for improving the general human rights situation in the Gulf monarchy

Human rights organizations reiterated their demand for the US government to suspend military aid to Egypt amid rampant human rights violations by the government of al-Sisi.

In a letter addressed to US secretary of state Antony Blinken, the 15 signatory organizations ask the US to restrict arms sales to the Gulf monarchy. Bahrain recently recognized Israel as part of the Abraham accords

Her release as per a judge’s order also includes the conditions that she stay on probation for three years and refrain from travelling outside of Saudi Arabia for five years
