Firefighters

Eleven countries will be meeting in Berlin to broker a peace agreement between the Government of National Accord and the Libyan National Army.

The fire season began in July and has till now claimed 24 lives, destroyed 2,000 homes and burned down more than 7.3 million hectares of land.

Despite being the biggest calamity that Australia has faced in generations, the government is yet to take any decisive steps to contain the bushfires raging across the country
