The incident marks the second attack launched by Jordanian nationals against Israeli forces in the last month, in retaliation for Israel’s genocidal aggression on Gaza.
Although Israel has a policy of confiscating the bodies of individuals who carry out attacks against its forces, it returned Al-Jazi’s body to maintain security relations with the Jordanian government amid outrage of the Jordanian people.

The move comes after massive protests continued for the second week in a row, against the import of gas by Jordan from Israel
