Popular protests

The Left in Slovenia, Levica, demanded the immediate resignation of interior minister Ales Hojs, who is being held directly responsible for police violence and excessive use of force against anti-government protesters in capital Ljubljana

The protests were organised to demand the protection of human rights in the country and an improvement in the economic conditions of the people. Protesters also called on the government to release all political prisoners and work towards greater social equality and initiate democratic reforms in the Moroccon political system

The move comes after massive protests continued for the second week in a row, against the import of gas by Jordan from Israel
