Latvian parliament rejects citizen initiative to validate same sex partnerships
The 100-member Latvian parliament Saeima voted down a citizen initiative which demanded the validation of same sex partnerships. The initiative was launched by the Dzīvesbiedri (Spouses) movement and citizen initiative platform ManaBalss.lv
