According to Starbucks Workers United, which is organizing workers to form unions, workers from over 200 outlets have already approached the National Labor Relations Board for a union vote

After the City met the union’s final demand regarding days missed due to the strike, the CTU declared a victory and classes will resume tomorrow

The movement spans over 300 cities across the world. It is no longer limited to exploited employees in the fast food industry but has expanded to include home health aides, child care teachers, airport workers, adjunct professors and even retail employees.
