India’s Kashmir move: “An attack on the Indian constitution and people of Kashmir”

Protests were organized in New Delhi and other states by Left parties and organisations terming the Indian government’s decision to remove the autonomy to Kashmir as an attack against constitution of country and the people of Kashmir.

After implementing a military siege in Indian region of Kashmir, the far-right government under Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday began its move to abolish Article 370, the special status to the state and bifurcate the region. This led to protests in New Delhi and other states by Left parties and organisations terming the decision as an attack against constitution of country and the people of Kashmir.
