On 25th September, hundreds of thousands of Indian farmers and working class groups came together for a national strike. They were protesting three laws pushed through parliament over the past week. Farmers say these laws will destroy their chances of getting good prices for their produce while giving corporates a further window into the sector. Protests were held in more than 100,000 locations.
