As the world attempts to flatten the COVID-19 curve, efforts are ongoing in India to prove that the lockdown imposed by the government saved lakhs of lives in the country. A paper published by the Indian Journal of Medical Research has made several claims to that extent, however, the methodology used does not meet scientific rigor, according to eminent scientist Satyajit Rath.
