The govt-led Gran Polo Patriotic alliance won 67.6% of the votes in the National Assembly elections held in Venezuela on December 6. The voting was monitored by 1,500 observers and 300 representatives from 34 countries worldwide who have called the process transparent and free from any discrepancies. What are the challenges ahead for the newly elected parliament?
