On May 18, 2021, thousands of Palestinians participated in a national strike to protest the ongoing Israeli attacks against Palestinians in Gaza and Jerusalem. Israel’s bombing campaign on Gaza has so far caused the death of over 219 Palestinians including 63 children. The massive protests organized across Historic Palestine were met with repression by Israeli forces especially in the West Bank and Jerusalem.

Dozens were injured yesterday by the indiscriminate firing of tear gas, toxic water cannons and even live ammunition by Israeli forces and at least one person was killed.
