London’s High Court passed an order permitting the extradition of Wikileaks founder Julian Assange to the US. This overturns the January decision by the district judge Vanessa Baraitser that found that extraditing Assange would be “oppressive”. The court stated that it was satisfied with the US assurances that it would not be putting Assange under solitary confinement, or holding him in a supermax prison.
