In today’s episode of the Daily Round-up we look at the initial report released by the US Interior Department on the severe abuse and deaths of Indigenous children forcibly held in boarding schools; Israel’s withdrawal of it’s false claims regarding the fatal shooting of Palestinian journalist Shireen Abu Akleh after investigations by rights groups and witness testimonies; the conviction and imprisonment of a 28 year old women by a court in El Salvador after she had a miscarriage while suffering from an obstetric emergency; and an initiative by Vanuatu to seek an advisory from the International Court of Justice regarding the legal obligations of all countries to prevent and redress the impacts of the climate crisis.
