Thousands have been mobilizing in the Colombian city of Medellin against a recent suspension of the mayor Daniel Quintero by the Inspector General’s office. His position was revoked for his alleged political participation in the upcoming presidential elections.

In addition to Quintero, many other representatives including the Mayor of Ibagué, Andrés Hurtado were also suspended from their positions for their political participation.
