New planet orbiting Proxima Centauri sparks interest among astronomers

The new planet Proxima Centauri d is probably smaller than Earth, according to scientists and was discovered using an advanced instrument known as the Eschelle Spectrograph for Rocky Exoplanets and Stable Spectroscopic Observations (ESPRESSO)
