Deputies from La France Insoumise (LFI) and the French Communist Party (PCF) have demanded state-owned production and distribution of medicines. Caroline Fiat, MP from LFI, will introduce a bill on the subject in the French national assembly by next week
Unions may legally challenge cancelation of domestic routes by South Africa Airways
Along with the cancelation of these domestic routes, the workers employed will also be retrenched. This lay-off is in violation of the collective agreement reached between the workers and the management in November 2019.
