In today’s episode of the Daily Round-up we look at the status of COVID-19 in Africa as the continent’s vaccination rate hovers at 8.6%; a statement released by a parliamentary committee in Libya saying that the December 24th elections would be “impossible”; a protest action launched by women gig workers against the app-based home services provider Urban Company in rejection of unfair working conditions; and the end of an 11-week strike by workers at the Kellogg food company in the U.S. after ratifying a second tentative agreement.
