More than 450 civil society and human rights groups from across the globe released a letter addressed to the ongoing 75th session of the UNGA asking it to revive its anti-apartheid bodies and take action to end Israeli occupation of Palestine
Following his release after 17 days in prison, Mahmoud Nawajaa called for the intensification of BDS campaigns “to bring to an end this system of apartheid and oppression and free all 4,700 Palestinian prisoners”
Mahmoud Nawajaa, general coordinator of the national committee of the BDS in Palestine, was arrested by the Israeli occupation forces early in the morning of July 30. His whereabouts remain unknown
The protests started when students who were peacefully protesting against the university’s collaboration with the Israeli state were given a show-cause notice.
