Peru and Saint Lucia have departed from the Lima group-a bloc of right-wing governments in the Americas. It was founded in August 2017 in Peru’s capital, Lima, with the objective to support the Venezuelan opposition and discredit the Bolivarian Revolution. The exit of two countries is bound to affect the geopolitics of the Latin American continent and is expected to be a major setback to the right-wing bloc.
